Recently, astronomers have found that the expansion rate of the Universe at different eras hasn't matched. This is the Hubble Tension mystery, and new surveys have confirmed the discovery. But now, astronomers have taken some of the best data gathered by JWST and found that the perceived gap is starting to narrow again. In fact, the expansion rate measured by Cepheid variables versus the cosmic background has overlapping error bars again. Will the tension be resolved?
