i am guilty of reading a news story and finding it interesting alone, with no real sense of the feasibility

There’s a draft of an executive order making the rounds with Trump’s people. And today is not a taboo to vote for the Puerto Rican Independence Party. They were in second place last elections (while being allied to another party. Long story).
But I don’t think there’s that feeling to go back with Spain. If anything there’s leftover resentment despite 100+ years of being a US colony…
