    How does Ghislaine Maxwell come from the UK but still sound like she picked up a fake British accent on a gap year?

    It's probably a function of projection but I can't stand the way she talks.

      @futurebird I was struck by something odd in the accent, too, and could not put my finger on it--thought maybe it was the influence of time in the US

        Maybe it's a different UK accent than the one she grew up with?
