There's no question about it: gardening is not for the faint of heart, nor the easily discouraged.@elliek
Some wasps and bees will use bits of leaf in their nest, but they don't do as much damage as herbivorous insects like caterpillars. -
There's no question about it: gardening is not for the faint of heart, nor the easily discouraged.Very doubtful. That is a mud-dauber wasp. They are predators of other insects and drink nectar. The wasp may have been attracted by whatever was eating the leaves.

CNBC Guy: "NYC tops the list as the city with the most Billionaires...Billionaires can go wherever they want. They like places like NYC because we have everyone and everything.
When you have a lot of money it becomes hard to find ways to spend it and big cities have the services and goods that make money do something. In a smaller town or country you might not be able to find things to do with all that money (people with services and skills) that make it worth your while. You can find these things in NYC.
They are addicted.

@futurebird someone gifted this cake of pu’er to us.Sheng gets a bit nicer with age if it was strong and like a green tea when young.
Shu can become too mild for my taste when aged too much, but a few years can make it a bit less funky IMO.
I mostly drink sheng though. Ideally very aged.

Walked past a new building going up near me (a preschool I think) and noticed they appear to have installed not one but TWO toilets in inside of their big front windows. It's better to push them up against a wall like that so the tank won't fall over and break.
Just hope no one tried to use them till they are hooked up... well that might be a reason to put them by a big window.

Well... let us hope.

Continually fascinated by mysterious wasps.Probably a male because of the big eyes and lack of stinger/ovipositor I think...
There is so much wasp diversity I wonder what this one does, they almost always do something suprising!

THIS is why cleaning is so difficult.Well in that sense you can't make a ruler for ANY number.
It's as good as any other mark you might make on the ruler done this way IMO.

Which of the following do you think most people you know would consider "radical" (radical doesn't mean wrong, or a bad idea, just an idea that you'd feel shocked to hear voiced)But this is about a billion not a million or half a million or something.
Being a billionaire isn't "upward mobility" it's domination.
But I also think you are correctly describing how many people see this. They hear "you can't ever make it big" and that's not even what this about.
-
THIS is why cleaning is so difficult.Make a square that is 1cm by 1cm then use a compass to mark the diagonal on the ruler at root 2cm

When I was first learning electronics I bought a bunch of kits from Boldport. This is exactly how I felt when I missed a lecture in complex and came in and saw this:
"aw hell no. they've got a circle on it now?!?"
It turned out to be fine. But yeah. Math is just always like this from the playground to the very end.

Which of the following do you think most people you know would consider "radical" (radical doesn't mean wrong, or a bad idea, just an idea that you'd feel shocked to hear voiced)I think it's might be possible to accumulate millions in this way. But billions? To have that kind of wealth you need to use the power that wealth can produce to further enrich yourself. Not just selling a thing people like, or running a company that makes sense, no you need to manipulate the system to keep the money flowing back to you.
And people might start doing this to "preserve" their wealth... but at some point it's something else. It's absurd. Grotesque.
