I did work in a TV factory as my 2nd job, but it was as a junior software engineer, so neither proper factory work nor management. Parents were the first in my family to go to university, so I'd answer chemistry lab for both of them, and going further back, plumber/builder and furniture shop assistant, so I think my recent ancestors sort of avoided manufacturing somehow.
