> @julian Yes, it started recently. Summaries are supposed to be short, but NodeBB appears to put the whole post in the summary. It should also be noted that Mastodon uses the summary field for content warnings. They don't even tell their users that the field was originally for summaries. As such, I would be surprised if any of the existing platforms accept HTML in the summary field. Some may even limit the characters in the summary field.
