The camera in Dark Souls and Eldenring seems to be unable to handle large enemies. The designers love large and ultra large enemies. I suspect that the camera controls would go nuts on *non standard* aspect ratios (in the programmers view)...

@afeinman @futurebird I remember seeing soldiers like that in Europe (France, I think?) and thinking it was weird but getting used to it super fast. (French people, do you have soldiers with big rifles in public places or am I misremembering?)

Shadow of the Demomlord has a spell from the forbidden Tradition called "Hateful Defecation" it simply kills anything with less than 10 max hitpoints and does some damage as you violently shit yourself.

I would say it gives them enough security to test if the payment providers would actually pull through with their threat. Which as far as I know they didn't try.

B-b-but I was ASSURED by Lemmy that Nintendo was shooting themselves in the foot with their pricing and business practices. That they have lost everyones trust and will soon feel the sting of customer dissatisfaction. @futurebird @silvermoon82 I absolutely think something like my work campus's stored value card would be a great use case for Taler.For a while we could deposit money on our ID cards and then spend it at stuff like the coffee shop or the library photocopiers.I think that's a good low risk situation to experiment with Taler.Also one their, demos included issuing a fictitious currency "Kudos" which you could spend on FOSS projects.So I bet one could also make up an ARG game that uses fake currency issued via Taler as digital playing pieces, for a really low risk way of experimenting.

@ClimateJenny There are two books:the ants of New EnglandThis is the best field guide on US and Canada ants, although it's about "new England" many of your local ants will be in this book. "Ants of North America" is a more general guide, not as much detail, but still high quality.
