That's awesome. I haven't gotten my head around a swashbuckler myself, but the ones I've seen play definitely feel like they're "of a kind" with gunslingers. It's worth noting, too, that the gunslinger "way" that you choose will define a lot of how the class plays. My pistolero's quick, seemingly careless gunplay will feel very different from someone who builds a sniper and is much more methodical and sneaky.

@afeinman @futurebird I remember seeing soldiers like that in Europe (France, I think?) and thinking it was weird but getting used to it super fast. (French people, do you have soldiers with big rifles in public places or am I misremembering?)

B-b-but I was ASSURED by Lemmy that Nintendo was shooting themselves in the foot with their pricing and business practices. That they have lost everyones trust and will soon feel the sting of customer dissatisfaction. Another problem is the idea that the moment someone says the word suicide you'd better call the cops and turn them over to someone who will restrict their liberties. Weren't we all just clowning on Tim Pool for taking secret Russian money to apologize for and praise Putin a few months back?I don't think this is as bad as that at all. But it is not good. It's dishonest. It's depressing. These things must be disclosed.

@futurebird @iampytest1 idk, there are creators in this field out there but they don't get as much press. Many of them survive through sponsorships or selling merchandise though, so you won't hear about them here.

I'm playing through it now and the virtual tourism comparison is bang on. I personally don't mind the repetitive gameplay so I'm still having a good time with it the rest of it though.
