Oh yikes, that's stupid expensive. Definitely not worth the cost. I think it'll get harder for me to not buy if they release a new Animal Crossing or Zelda, but honestly even then it's not worth buying a whole console for 2 games. Probably just have to play them by *other means*

I actually googled it and found multiple tutorials on how to activate full nudity even if you're in the US. You literally do just change your console's region, for Xbox anyway.

Controller would make sense. I've also only tried it in first person games where input delay is probably more noticeable than other types of games

I personally think it's very fun. Haven't tried the DLC yet, but I plan to.

I love the magic system in Genesys, with just basic spells (attack, heal, augment, curse, etc), some varying effects with suggested flavor (e.g. "Ice" adds ensnare to an attack, but mechanically it doesn't matter if it is vines, goop, whatever), and how much that effect increases spell difficulty. It lets the players go into a brainstorming session trying to come up with a spell to get out of a very specific situation, and having the game support almost anything. E.g. this create water idea could be an attack spell with the poisonous quality (making it a hard check), which requires the target to make a hard resilience check or take a bunch of extra damage and strain, which for a skilled mage against a non-boss creature (e.g. an overly ambitious bandit) is well within one-shot range. If they pass the check, they would still take damage from the attack, but would be able to cough up most of the water before it got too serious. This system sounds very cool also, and I have recently heard of Mage in another thread. I would like to play a system that gives players the ability to come up with spells that the GM doesn't know ahead of time (I seriously dislike long lists of predefined spells), but also has a little more of that hard magic-science set of rules to satisfy my inner Sanderson fanboy. I have built in some external scaffolding around the magic in my Genesys setting that does this, and it has been a ton of fun so far. My main gripe is that I wish I had more time to play RPGs (more than a couple sessions a month) so I could try out more systems.

It's already in use responsibly. And irresponsibly. Turns out that you can't really argue the slope of responsibility when that's an individual choice of how someone uses a tool.

Theoretically if they release the game the revenue stream dries up right? Or will they keep selling shark cards?

@elliek Some wasps and bees will use bits of leaf in their nest, but they don't do as much damage as herbivorous insects like caterpillars.

The thing with products like games, textbooks, movies etc is that a large part of the cost is the design. This means that while you can make the products cheap and still cover the cost of manufacturing, you won’t make back the money from the design if your margin is very low. This gives manufacturers the ability to sell the same product in differently wealthy markets while still making a profit. If you now take the product from a cheaper market and sell it to more wealthy consumers at lower price than they usually pay, you aren’t actually selling at a better price because you are providing a better service. You are selling at a better price because you’re breaking the manufacturer’s business model. This isn’t something that can permanently work because either A: the manufacturer doesn’t get enough money to cover the design, can lead to bankruptcy or change of business model (C), B: through regulations this is prohibited or The manufacturer raises the price in the regions your buying from, breaking your business model and screwing over the people who can no longer afford it there. Of course this depends on the scale you’re acting in, but in theory preventing you from doing so would bring more equality between richer and poorer nations

@joannaholman It's better to push them up against a wall like that so the tank won't fall over and break. Just hope no one tried to use them till they are hooked up... well that might be a reason to put them by a big window.
